All Black and Rugby World Cup Finalist Sonny Bill Williams will fight to be heavyweight champion of New Zealand in the summer.

Williams has taken up boxing as a hobby but his physique and athletic ability mean he has become a threat on the boxing worlds more notable names.

So far he has only fought people described by his promoter as bums and has won every time on points, concerns have been raised that he has failed to knock out any of his opponents.

The opponent for the heavyweight belt (which is currently vacant after its previous holder moved down a weight class) will be Richard Tutaki. He is a similar level of physicality and is a more experienced and, by most expert opinions, a better boxer. However, he is famously a lazy trainer, he struggles with reputation as he is rarely in shape and overall is not as serious a contender as he was 7 or 8 years ago. He has fought 3 fights in 3 years and Sonny Bill will, surprisingly, go in favourite.
