Tell me when was the last time you watched women fighting so hard? Don’t remember, everybody got out of their nerve! Nice, that’s the meaning of soccer; it’s about cheering, supporting, yelling, insulting and feeling the passion for the sport. Americans and Samurais’ crossed hands on the penalty shots after a long, long game. Not one was expecting them but the underdog ghost showed up and guess what?; the stars and stripes stop shinning and Japan’s natural force came through.
Japan’s dream became true. Ten minutes later another game got the attention of soccer fan all over the world, yes fellows; it was Brazil who was suffering on the electric sit with Paraguay after a very closed game. Later that evening, another easy prey came with Chile, and its dusted wings that didn’t stop Venezuela’s anger. The underdogs were in the house. Many conclusions can be highlighted from these three events. First of all, the underdogs are barking and waging their tails with happiness! Secondly, the one who forgives tends to lose; finally soccer is about confidence not about overestimations. Three good examples of what happened on this tournament for this semi-final games. In Japan’s case, this is their first Women’s World Cup Championship, a tremendous honor for them and a reason for the country to feel happy if we think about all the natural disasters they have suffered through the year. My respect and keep the good job. On Paraguay’s side, amazing how they broke Brazil’s individual play, forced them to reject the area and remove the style of Brazil’s key players. Finally, do not forget that Venezuela’s first weapon has been always the kickbacks when there is a corner; they really know how to move and conduct the ball quickly, from the defense to the offense something Chile paid for. The people who made money with these games, my congrats it’s a big mission; watch out with the ghost I can still feeling it. Cheers!
