Everything points that the summer soccer events don’t want to end so easily, the U-20 World Cup is right around the corner and for sure is one of the best FIFA youth events of the year. Thirteen Colombian cities will welcome 24 teams broken into six groups. Curiously, Colombia´s team is not the one who will open the tournament as the host usually does; they will have to wait a day to make their proper debut against the dangerous France.

Another interesting thing is that the FIFA set the fixtures from group F, which is the last group, and that’s why England will open the tournament against North Korea, playing on Colombia´s second largest city; Medellin. Later on, Argentina will face Mexico in a game that could be the house plate of the day due to the large rivalry these teams have. Many good players come up from these tournaments and so many others have consolidated their talent getting fancy contracts with big clubs. On these kinds of tournaments the chances are all around.   In case of Argentina and Mexico´s game the things look very clear. Argentina is the king, winning the tournament on six opportunities, they also qualified first during the U-29 Sudamericano, enough to book their ticket to Colombia and having on their squad a player, already compared with Lionel Messi, Juan Manuel Iturbe has caught the attention of the press, and is one of the best promise players of the tournament. Mexico´s situation is a little different they lost against Costa Rica the final of Concacaf´s U.29 Championship by a 3 – 1 score; besides their commitment of improving what Mexico´s U-17 did some weeks ago, could be a great pressure to the players, however, some of their key players as Ulises Davila and David Izazola came from the Copa America, an experience that for sure gave them rthym and confidence for this next event. My betting prediction goes to Argentina! Cheers
