As you may know, each soccer location has its own tournament competition which used to be played between the World Cup periods. All this kind of competitions help in a lot of aspects like setting a solid team, providing confidence to the players from good results and help to come up with new playing cards. Next Sunday 5th the Gold Cup in the Concacaf division will start its 11th edition on twelve different places along United States.

A group that demands for attention is Group C where Panama, Canada, United States and Guadeloupe will face each other on a race for the next stage; remember that the two best ranked go through. This Gold Cup will be played by twelve regional teams, which some of them got qualified from a preliminary stage, like the Central American competition also known as Uncaf Cup. Since Concacaf is not one of the most consolidated soccer divisions this tournament is kind of lazy, due to the big hole it has between good teams and fair teams. The last three editions have had the same opponents on the final game, confirming us the existence of a competitive breach inside. Next June 7th United States will make their debut against one of the teams that always complicate things, Canada. Despite the fact that, Canada does not have a national soccer tournament instead they play in the MLS, the Toronto FC is one of the Canadian teams that play in the MLS. Canada always performs with great property in this tournament. United States is renewing their entire squad, calling young people but also combining them with the same key players of the last World Cup. That’s a good deal if you have in mind,  that a team is shaped after long terms. Talking about their last games, Unites States just lost against Spain by a bulky score of 4 – 0 while Canada tied with Ecuador last week 2 – 2. For sure both games helped to suit some coach ideas, and helped release anxiety before the tournament. Keep in mind that United States has won this competition four times, they are one tournament behind Mexico who has won five times. For this game take United States money line and enjoy your money. Cheers!
