There is good reason to make the Tigers favourite in this one. They are at home, facing a dark tunnel that if they lose will put them 0-3 and virtually out of the playoffs. The rangers have been all dominant and their offence is firing on all cylinders as they look to make it 6 wins on the bounce and 10 from their last 11. Their momentum has not really slowed at all heading into these matches and detroit are going to have a few problems. Firstly the offence for the rangers is a real powerhouse, and while the tigers also have hitting power, they have been lacking at the worst time. They have had to rely more on pitching, not their forte, instead of hitting which is their strength.

Seattle Mariners’ Greg Halman’s funeral scheduled for next week – MLB Update
Greg Halman’s stabbing was one of the most disturbing moments in the history of sporting world and much more worse was the arrest of his younger brother Jason Halman in this case. Although nothing has been confirmed as yet, the Halman family is almost shattered in the aftermath of this incident.
Halman was said to be the most talented baseball player in Netherlands and his stint with the Seattle Mariners was just a replica of that. A few weeks before being stabbed to death, Halman was on a European Tour, representing Major League Baseball and helping promote the sport in regions where popularity is not as high as in the United States or other baseball loving countries.
Halman’s love for the sport will be remembered for long as millions of fans in the States as well as in Netherlands continue to be in a state of shock over the death of Greg. His
