One of the great traditions in horse racing will be renewed with 2011 Santa Anita Derby predictions today from then famed Santa Anita race track in Southern California which is a Grade 1 Kentucky Derby prep race worth $1 million and often ends up sending off the future winner of the Kentucky Derby in May. The original favorites of today’s race, Premier Pegasus and Jaycito were scratched with a hairline fracture and a foot bruise respectively as trainer Bob Baffert said the foot was too tender for action.
