There is good reason to make the Tigers favourite in this one. They are at home, facing a dark tunnel that if they lose will put them 0-3 and virtually out of the playoffs. The rangers have been all dominant and their offence is firing on all cylinders as they look to make it 6 wins on the bounce and 10 from their last 11. Their momentum has not really slowed at all heading into these matches and detroit are going to have a few problems. Firstly the offence for the rangers is a real powerhouse, and while the tigers also have hitting power, they have been lacking at the worst time. They have had to rely more on pitching, not their forte, instead of hitting which is their strength. Colby Lewis will have their offence quiet today, and considering they are hitting their season average but only 6-4 last 10, i see the rangers winning this one
