There are now eleven celebrities enduring the Australian outback on Im A Celebrity, Freddie Starr had to retire due to Ill health, and the remaining original nine have now been joined by Sinitta and ex DJ Pat Sharp. Bookmakers Paddy Power have had a week to revise their assessment of the winning market and whilst there have been some changes in the field the favourites remain the same. Mark Wright is a clear favourite at the moment at 13/8, with Antony Cotton and Dougie Poynter on 4/1.

TOWIE star Mark Wright has dominated the airtime which is key to the success of anyone on this show. He has come over as surprisingly personable and not nearly as macho as might have been expected, in fact at times his boyish naivety is endearing, although there is a long way to go on this series and the slightest twist or turn can change the fates of any of the stars.

Dougie Poynter clearly brings McFly fans with him, and although he has completed one bush tucker trial and did well, he appears to have been so laid back that he has not been central to many story lines. Similarly, Jessica Jane Carter seems perfectly willing to pit her wits against the challenges at hand but is not a dominant enough personality to penetrate the fun of Willie Carson or the earnestness of Fatima Whitbread.

Fatima has risen in the odds table after first entering the jungle, proving to be in every way very Amazonian. She seems unfazed by any challenge and keen to fit in, but has moments of such competitiveness that she may be sabotaging her chances of reaching the endgame by her lack of humour. She and Stefanie and Antony have been central to a lot of TV time as they adopt the role of chef. Antony and Stefanie were the chefs in their respective camps before the two merged and now are likely to provide a few scuffles as they bicker around the campfire over the meagre offerings they are given. Fatima is clearly keen to be given the chance to shine in every area and will find it hard to step back in this arena. Stefanie is seen as having only a 150/1 chance to win, but she is likely to stay longer than Crissy Rock who at present is coasting along on the back of everyone else. If you dont really engage on this show, to good or bad effect the viewers will disengage.

Much has been made of the disabling phobias that Sinitta suffers from in the red tops and it was clear from her night spent in a bug ridden cave to ensure the other celebrities received their luxury items, that she is both a team player and is prepared to face her fears which will serve her well. Lorraine Chase could well be the dark horse in this line up, she can be funny, knows when it is prudent to intervene in an argument and seems keen to take on any challenge. Her odds have already shortened to 10/1 and could come in further.

Mark Wright is definitely the one to beat at the moment, but he could easily shoot himself in the foot during a bush tucker trial, literally or metaphorically.
